About
The Harvard Allston Land Company (HALC), established in 2018, serves as Harvard University's vehicle for advancing the development of the Enterprise Research Campus (ERC) through strategic partnerships with private sector commercial developers.
HALC uses these strategic partnerships to activate the University’s existing land holdings while minimizing financial liability and development risk.
Structured to operate with the agility and responsiveness of a private-sector entity, and governed by an independent Board, HALC is positioned to effectively respond to market demands and accelerate development timelines.
HALC staff also represent the University in discussions with the Commonwealth regarding the Allston Multimodal Project (AMP).
